Let's talk about the weather...

What an extraordinary day of weather we experienced on our open day! Rain and wind moved in to lash at participants, volunteers and gazebos alike. However, that did not seem to put anyone off. We had a steady stream of visitors coming to view the garden, buy plants and delicious home-made cakes and to take part in our special Pick, Cook, Share workshop, supported by Paint the Change and The National Lottery Community Fund as part of their Cleaner & Greener East London initiative. We're thrilled to announce that we raised a much bigger amount than ever before for the wonderful Greenwich & Bexley Community Hospice. We call that a success, whatever the weather. A huge thank you to all who joined us.

Once again, huge thanks for all the support from our local community, Christ Church School, Robert Owen Nursery, our funding partners, G&B Community Hospice and wider. We hope you had a ball!
