We are thrilled to have Joss Carr from the Biological Recording Company join us to give an educational workshop on how to use the iNaturalist app and website to register all our wild flora and fauna sitings with the national database. This is important for the wildlife in our green spaces to protect them from encroaching development. It is also vital that good records are kept at a national level in order to monitor changes in populations as numbers decline through habitat loss, climate change and other stresses. If you love observing and taking pictures of wildlife, this one's for you. Watch this space for the date!

Our first Painted Lady butterfly of 2026 observed feeding on a White Valerian (Centranthus ruber 'Albus') flowers. Loaded up via the iNaturalist website and into the national database.
